In short, we are the same as you—a plant lover or an urban farmer, whatever you prefer to call yourself. We are simply a part of the community to which you already belong. From the moment we set our eyes on the soil to the moment we watch a seed sprout, a fruit ripen, or a flower bloom, we share the same experience of immersing in nature. We share a passion for the earth and a joy for the first rain of summer. To the same extent that you are aware of the needs of your soil and the requirements of your plants, we are too. We just deliver them to you with a guarantee of purity and quality.

Dr. Anjalii Prasad

Dr. Prasad has a deep respect for the natural world and its intricate ecosystem. She also loves gardening a lot. Her Ph.D. in entomology and years of research work showcase her knowledge about insects, how to get rid of them, and how they affect other living things. Because of her love for ecology and hard work to make policies that are good for the environment, she wants to help other people by giving them useful plant inputs. She has an amazing ability to explain complicated science ideas in a way that is easy to understand. This makes the information not only useful but also approachable.

Dr. Swayambhu Ghosh

Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Ghosh specializes in soil fertility and has extensive knowledge of soil biology and plant nutrition. For years, he has studied how plants grow and learned the value of pure, well-processed, carbon-rich plant foods. He cares a lot about the earth, as shown by his work to promote organic farming. His enthusiasm for the environment and his dedication to preserving natural resources motivate him to assist others.

The Ecophilic’s Journey on a Greener Path

Our journey began as workers in various laboratories, before we moved into the natural world to improve the quality of life around us. Today, as the adverse effects of chemicals become more apparent than a decade ago, there is a need for environment-friendly alternatives that prioritize soil health and the overall biome’s well-being. At Ecophilic Farm, we combine modern technology with ancient wisdom to produce chemical-free products. These products harness nature’s power to nourish and maintain healthy soils and plants. We promote holistic farming and gardening, respect traditional knowledge, and ensure our planting practices are environmentally helpful.

In this spirit, we attended the orientation programme at the Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship, National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad, under the scheme of Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana – Rewarding Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sectors Rejuvenation, endorsed and supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, during the summer of 2019. Following the programme, we received a grant to assist with pre-seeding, and the wheels started turning for Ecophilic Farming Solutions. Initially, we were providing different types of Suhali, our very own soil conditioner to farmers in different regions of Eastern India. However, with continued growing demand among urban growers and gardeners, we expanded our product range in 2021. By collaborating with various shops and nurseries, we were able to reach a wider audience of plant lovers. Recently, in 2023, we opened our own e-commerce store to facilitate better interaction and knowledge sharing with our extended family. We are incredibly grateful to MANAGE and RKVY for their invaluable support. Their belief in our vision and early assistance have been pivotal to our success.

Our Mission

Our objective at Ecophilic Farm is to provide gardeners with natural and organic plant inputs that promote sustainable and environmentally friendly gardening practices. We do this by combining our modern scientific expertise with the old knowledge that has been passed down through the generations. We are dedicated to supplying products of the greatest possible quality. We hope to improve the overall planting experience and encourage people to develop a profound connection with the natural world.

Our Goal

Our goal at Ecophilic Farm is to revolutionize the way people approach planting. By consistently delivering innovative and eco-conscious solutions, we aim to empower gardeners to create thriving, vibrant gardens and grow safer foods. We are committed to expanding our product range, through continuous research and improvement to cater the evolving needs of the gardeners. In the places where we operate, we are also trying to generate employment, especially for rural women.
